When Wonderland is closed for the winter you will find the White Rabbit doing his off-season job, sky painting.  You probably thought  there was some scientific  reason why the sky was blue, nope, it's the White Rabbit.  He does this every fall,  just before it freezes.  Have you ever noticed by the end of winter, how pale the sky has become?  The paint's worn off the sky.   He'll redo it in the spring along with a few eggs and then it's back to Wonderland.
