Warning!  Not everyone who enters Windy Woods, returns! If I was you, I'd take the shortcut and not go through Windy Woods... it would be much safer and probably a lot more fun...  nasty things live in these woods, you should have stayed in Karrial...that place is a lot safer and the Clans are really great and there is plenty to eat and there's great parties...you don't really want to find the scarecrows do you?  Who needs 'em?

hello...  who are you?  I'm Challie, you 're not from here are you?  I live here, this is my pumpkin patch....do you like pumpkins?   I do, I like pumpkins.  The little ones are rude, but I don't mind.... Why are you here?  Oh... you're looking for the scarecrows...  Oh dear.  The pumpkins might know where they are, I s'pose you could ask them.   Yes, pumpkins , ask the pumpkins.   Be careful.....

SHORTCUT

Shortcuts are great time savers! You have better things to do than tromp through swampy, dangerous woods, don't you.  I'd take this shortcut if I was you.  It'll be fun, and you'll find the scarecrows much faster...trust me!
